Competing in the Multipurpose Tourism Segment implies having a more specialized human capital in the region, mainly in the Maya and surroundings; the construction of a varied offer that takes advantage of global trends, such as adventure tourism, sustainable travel, among others, as well as the planning of complex routes that take advantage of both: territories and attractions of the region, such as those of Chiapas and others neighboring states.

On the other hand, integrating technology and e-commerce to attract customers through the timely communication of the tourist offer in the region is imperative. Therefore, a comprehensive marketing strategy must promote tourism in the area.
